About us

The Employment Consultation Center established in accordance with the National Strategic Special Zones Act provides support to help start-up companies and/or overseas companies expanding business into Japan understand Japanese employment rules, including those relating to recruitment and employment, correctly and launch their business smoothly, as well as to help employees of those companies fully exert their abilities and motivation in work.
Our services include consultations with experienced lawyers and public consultants on social and labor insurance and seminars by them.

The Employment Consultation Center is designed to prevent labor disputes from occurring, and therefore our services are available only for matters not in dispute.

We hold seminars by lawyers and public consultants on social and labor insurance on such topics as labor-related laws and labor management practices and the “Employment Guidelines” [1] . Participation is free of charge.

Service Recipients

Our services are available to companies located and individuals working in the Kansai National Strategic Special Zone (Osaka, Hyogo, and Kyoto prefectures) that meet the following conditions.

  1. 1.Start-up companies (within approximately 5 years from establishment) and companies preparing for starting a business
  2. 2.Overseas companies aiming to expand their businesses into the Kansai National Strategic Special Zone
  3. 3.Companies aiming to create jobs through business expansion in the Kansai National Strategic Special Zone
  4. 4.Individuals working in a company that can be classified in any of 1 through 3 (including prospective employees)

Consultations are available over the phone, through e-mail (using the inquiry form), and by visiting us.

After an initial general labor consultation with a lawyer or a public consultant on social and labor insurance, we will arrange for a consultation on highly professional matters or individual consultation visit upon your request.

Please inform us of a brief summary of your consultation and scheduled date and time of your visit in advance so that consultation with an appropriate consultant can be arranged.
